Thinking about a Vow Renewal?

Did you originally elope and now you want a real wedding day? Have you been married 10, 15, 20 or more years and want a celebration of your vows with family and friends? Have you been through relationship or health challenges and just want to recommit your dedication? Then plan a memorable vow renewal ceremony to honor your love!

No matter if there are 20 or 200 guests, your celebration can be a fun reaffirmation of your initial vows!
You have been through some of the ups and downs of life. Now you know “who you are individually” and “who you are as a couple” and you know what type of event you want! Maybe you can afford something that was not within your reach earlier in your marriage.

There is no perfect or traditional way to do a Vow Renewal, so you can be creative, and do as you wish! There is no “should do this or that” so highlight your children, grandchildren or furry friends!   Do you want a casual picnic family affair, a glam outdoor wedding, a small intimate evening for a few, a large party and dance, a formal church wedding… be as laid back or as formal as you want and let your dreams come true!

No gifts are needed, so maybe designate and honor a special charity you support such as a local animal rescue, or children’s education or nutrition program charity for guests to make donations in your name.

No need for a legal ceremony so have a clergy, a family member or friend to officiate, but do write your own vows! Now is not the time for the canned traditional words. What does your heart want to say?  Relate your experiences, challenges, memories, and love to each other.

Above all, have a good time!
Take time to enjoy your family and friends, to remember old times and to make new memories.

Cherish the Day!
